Carol also shares the secrets of piecing the really skinny lines and curves in her Linear Series. Use couching to create more sensuous lines in your work. Learn to finish your work with facings instead of bindings.
Carol demonstrates how to free-motion quilt and gives you drawings of 16 - 20 designs to practice in class using various threads appropriate to the designs.
All of these techniques are done with a minimal amount of measuring to free you up and allow you to think outside of the box. Use these basics to gain the confidence to work more freely, improvise, and express your individuality in your quilts. |
