Rosemary Eichorn

Rosemary Eichorn is an award-winning studio artist, teacher, and lecture with a lifelong love of sewing, textiles, and making art. She was awarded Teacher of the Year by Professional Quilter Magazine in 2007. Numerous needle art and quilting magazines have featured her work. She considers teaching a privilege and is committed to helping others find their creative voices.

Rosemary helps you liberate your art quilt design potential using the techniques in her popular book, The Art of Fabric Collage. Students are encouraged to develop a playful and intuitive approach to design, using a wide variety of fabrics to create an art quilt or artwear such as a vest or tunic. Free-motion stitching techniques are emphasized and embellishment techniques such as beading, foiling, and the use of non-traditional sewing materials such as paper, Tyvek, and Angelina fibers are introduced.

Rosemary nurtures student’s development of personal style. A renewed enthusiasm for heartfelt designing and confidence in your creative spirit are major objectives of this workshop.
