Create Your Own Fabric Landscape

This workshop requires no measuring, templates or patterns.  Natalie shows you how to create a unique landscape that reflects your own artistic interpretation of a favorite scene.

Starting with a favorite photo, you will learn how to use fabric and scissors as your canvas and paintbrush.  This is a creative experience with almost no rules.  So plan to have fun and learn how to let yourself go artistically. 

Natalie Sewell has been a quilter for 17 years and has spent the last 15 of them making landscape quilts.  Her quilts have won major prizes at numerous national competitions including those sponsored by the American Quilter’s Society, Visions, and the National Quilters’ Association.  Natalie has co-authored three books on her techniques: Landscape Quilts,  published by  Leisure Arts, and The Art of Landscape Quilting, published by Krause Publications.  She has also appeared numerous times on PBS’s “Sewing with Nancy”
