Creating Original Art Quilts

Are you ready to start doing art quilts but aren’t quite sure were to start? Afraid of the “Art” in art quilts? Let’s spend time looking at inspiration, learning about good color usage, designing using the principles and elements of design and work at putting it all together in whatever method you would like. The first two days will be filled with exercises to get you going with color planning and designing. The remaining days are spent working on a piece in the method of your choice.

This class is designed for those who are new to art quilting, or have been doing them for awhile but would like to brush up on designing and coloring their work. You learn from the discussions of what works and doesn’t work and learn to do a critique (not criticism!).
